What's a Swinger?

In the context of horse racing in England, a Swinger bet 

(also known as an Omni or Tote Swinger)
is a type of wager where you select two horses from a race.

Winning Conditions:
To win a Swinger bet, your two selected horses 

must finish in the top three positions in the race,

regardless of the order. 

This means you win if your horses finish:

1st and 2nd
1st and 3rd
2nd and 3rd
